This past weekend, I had the pleasure of working with a couple I first met three years ago. Amber and Kelvin were getting engaged, and I was honored to be able to take their engagement photos. Well, time has passed and their family has grown. A few weeks ago, Amber and Kelvin welcomed a […]
This past weekend was another great time (for me, at least). I got a chance to work with a fantastic family… the Swanns. Mrs. Swann found me on Groupon and quickly setup an appointment for her family photo-shoot.
When Mindy contacted me about taking some family portraits, I knew they would be great. Mindy has been a good friend for a long time, and her family is awesome! (It helps that they’re all just a little bit nuts too!).
Ms. Evana comes to me through a friend of mine, who just happens to be her sister. She approached me with the idea of creating some images that she could use to celebrate and look back on her 37th birthday. Happy Birthday Evana!
Over the past few weeks I’ve been speaking with an old friend of mine and putting together a photoshoot for his lady. Going in, I was warned that this would be her first photoshoot, and that she may be a bit nervous. “No problem, it’ll be fun” was my immediate response. Enter – Janelle.

Ms. Octavia and I connected through Facebook. Well, actually, reconnected through Facebook. We’ve actually known each other for a very long time (high school days). Octavia has gone on to do wonderful things, including being a pageant queen and model…
Valaurie Bridges Lee… where should I begin? Let’s just say that she is one of my oldest friends. I’ve known Val since I was a child (our parents all actually attended college together). So, when she contacted me about the idea of taking photos of four generations of ladies in her family… I jumped at […]
Recently, I was blessed with the opportunity to take the Cap & Gown portraits of some of our future leaders and great minds. These young ladies and gentlemen have mastered all of their requirement and have been recommended for graduation to Kindergarten!
As an idea to promote some more family/children style portraits, I had an idea to throw two of the next America’s Next Top Models into their favorite themes… the Disney princesses. With a little coaxing, some music and a lot of jellybeans, we had a very successful photo shoot.
