This weekend is a special occasion. Ms. Imani is graduating and beginning the next phase of her life. I’ve known her and mother for several years now, and they are wonderful people. It was great being able to make these photos with them….
Ms. Evana comes to me through a friend of mine, who just happens to be her sister. She approached me with the idea of creating some images that she could use to celebrate and look back on her 37th birthday.
Happy Birthday Evana!
Over the past few weeks I’ve been speaking with an old friend of mine and putting together a photoshoot for his lady. Going in, I was warned that this would be her first photoshoot, and that she may be a bit nervous. “No problem, it’ll be fun” was my immediate response.
Enter – Janelle.
A few weeks ago, I was contacted by a young lady that was interested in taking some graduation photos. She said that she graduated a couple of years earlier, but never had the opportunity to take any photos. She also wanted to take some casual photos as well.
Introducing: Ms. Tamra
This past weekend, I had the pleasure of attending a FANTASTIC celebration. My wife’s grandmother, “Nanny,” turned 100!!! Can you imagine all the things she’s seen and been a part of in her lifetime. The living is one thing, the experiences (and the ultimate party) are entirely something else. I can’t tell you how festive an occasion it was.
A couple of weeks ago, I was asked by a friend to come by and take some photos of her family that was in town for the 4th of July holidays. The undisputed patriarch of this family is Mr. Horace Ross.
A few months ago, I was honored to take engagement photos of a wonderful couple – Amber and Kelvin. These two are the epitome of love. They couldn’t stop laughing and hugging each other…
Ms. Octavia and I connected through Facebook. Well, actually, reconnected through Facebook. We’ve actually known each other for a very long time (high school days). Octavia has gone on to do wonderful things, including being a pageant queen and model…
Valaurie Bridges Lee… where should I begin? Let’s just say that she is one of my oldest friends. I’ve known Val since I was a child (our parents all actually attended college together). So, when she contacted me about the idea of taking photos of four generations of ladies in her family… I jumped at the opportunity.
This holiday weekend, I was fortunate enough to have a photo shoot with the marvelous Mrs. Mindy. Mindy has a terrific personality which made her a joy to work with. There were some issues with dodging the rain and changing location, but she took it all in stride…
Earlier this week, I had the pleasure of making a few portraits of the lovely Christin. She’s a very vibrant, outgoing and glamorous young lady to say the least.
Recently, I was blessed with the opportunity to take the Cap & Gown portraits of some of our future leaders and great minds.
These young ladies and gentlemen have mastered all of their requirement and have been recommended for graduation to Kindergarten!
As an idea to promote some more family/children style portraits, I had an idea to throw two of the next America’s Next Top Models into their favorite themes… the Disney princesses. With a little coaxing, some music and a lot of jellybeans, we had a very successful photo shoot.
You never know when you’re going to run into or meet good people. Enter… Lonnie.
